JR Fokes yacht insurance was looking for their logo to be sleek and minimal. Bringing together elements seen out at sea, old style boat word marks with a modern and elegant twist. They wanted a logo that looked like the back of a yacht, and it was up to us to convey that in a way that stayed true to the modern landscape of logos.

Project Reflection.

JR Fokes Yacht Insurance came to us with the vision of creating a logo that draws on familiar elements to their customers. The look and feel of the boats they are insuring. The elegance of a modern logo, with homages to old style boat workmarks that are everywhere you look in a boat yard. We took it one step further and provided them with a small visual guide that will allow them to keep their branding consistent as they start their venture.
